It is national dog day and so I have to share not only some super cute puppies with you, but a Thomasville breeder that you have to check out. Devyn Newberry loved dogs and he started up Fork in the Road Kennels. Devyn was an amazing guy. Sweet, kind, handsome, really nice, a great teacher, an amazing coach and I knwo his parents would say a wonderful son. He started this business and had big plans for the future. Last year, Devyn passed away in terrible accident on his way home from work. Everyone who knew him was shocked and saddened and his presence is greatly missed. He was just one of those all-around great guys. His parents have decided to keep his dream alive and you can read more about their mission here. Devyn’s family have decided to take his dreams and plans for the kennels and make them a reality and the proceeds will be going to a scholarship fund, DN9 Scholarships which honors Devyn’s life. Devyn loved being a teacher and he loved kids so this is such a great way to keep Devyn’s legacy alive as well as help some very deserving students. These puppies are just some of the first of the kennel but there are more coming soon. Devyn’s family have built an amazing structure for the dogs and I can testify that these dogs are given some serious love which is just what I would want for someone raising my new puppy.
